Calathea vittata is a member of the Marantaceae family, aka Prayer Plants, due to the movement of its leaves throughout the day to follow the sun, which then fold up at night as if in prayer. This particular variety has pleasing white stripes with green margins. Like other Calathea, it enjoys plenty of humidity and moist conditions.

You will receive a healthy, well-rooted Calathea vittata in a plastic pot in the size of your choice.

Care Tips

We recommend bright, ambient light, but never full or direct sun, which can singe the leaves. Calathea prefer around 60% (or more) humidity. Use a pebble tray filled with water in order to raise humidity around your plant. Water thoroughly with distilled water when the soil is dry a couple inches down.
