Gasteria is named for the shape of its flowers, which are stomach-like. They are hardy and prefer lower light conditions than most other succulents, making them a great choice for desks and other low maintenance environments.

Care Tips

We recommend bright, ambient light, although Gasteria will also tolerate lower lighting conditions (though it should still be comfortable to read in without lights on). Plant in fast-draining soil, and water thoroughly when the soil is completely dry.
