A closeup of a small globular grey-green cactus, which has long white flattened spines coming out of it in every directions. However, the long spines are soft and harmless, and each paper spine has a cluster of small sharp spines.

Also known as the 'Paper Spine Cactus,' Tephrocactus papyracanthus is a slow-growing segmented cactus covered in soft and harmless "paper" spines. However, while the paper spines are harmless, be careful of the many micro spines at the base of each paper spine. Ouch! Hardy down to 15 degrees F.

You will receive a healthy, well-rooted Tephrocactus papyracanthus in a 2-inch plastic pot.
