About Succulence

Succulence was born in 2009 in the back of a neighborhood video store in the Bernal Heights neighborhood of San Francisco. After germinating for a few years, Succulence took over the entire space in 2012. For 15 years, Succulence was one of San Francisco’s favorite plant stores, while providing florals for weddings, landscaping services and tons of workshops. What made us unique was our planting bar, where customers could gather and create plant art on site, under the careful guidance of our expert team.

In 2024, we closed the brick and mortar business, and have continued to provide the greater Bay Area with super fun plant parties of all sorts and sizes. We can host teams in our neighborhood, and we can travel to your business, venue, or home to facilitate a variety of plant art events. We also specialize in large and small-scale moss art for your home or office. This type of art is made from preserved nature, and is maintenance-free.
